Pensio directly self-procured performance bond insurance coverage for certain risk management services and guarantees relies on the exact terms, conditions, and policy exclusions outlined by the actual insurer. This coverage is specifically dedicated to Pensio's obligation to provide certain risk management services and guarantees. The performance bond excludes any general services specified in the AssuredRent, AssuredTenant, and AssuredIncome agreements.
Pensio is eligible for coverage under the performance bond coverage placed or underwritten by World, with performance bond policy coverage limits not exceeding the amount defined in the AssuredRent, AssuredTenant, and AssuredIncome agreements and the performance bond policy issued by the insurer to Pensio. World operates as a general agent for various performance bond issuers, maintaining a minimum A.M. Best rating of "A- (Excellent)" or higher. In some states, non-admitted, excess/surplus line carriers that lack state licensing may underwrite performance bond insurance coverage.
Pensio does not receive compensation from performance bond insurers for placements facilitated by World on behalf of Pensio. U.S. property owners and property managers can obtain information about AssuredRent, AssuredTenant, or AssuredIncome products in the U.S. You will be directed by ERVIS to a World Insurance Associates LLC licensed insurance producer in the location where you reside.
In Canada "Performance Bond Insurance Coverage For Canadian Property Owners and Property Managers Under the AssuredRent, AssuredTenant, and AssuredIncome Agreements, was Self-Procured directly by Pensio through World Insurance LLC ("World"), a licensed insurance agency in the U.S. and issued by Pensio's licensed insurance broker in the Province where the rental property is located.

Pensio's performance bond insurer is not licensed under the Insurance Companies Act in Canada and the Province where the property owner or property manager and the property are located. Payment of claims may be more difficult than with an insurer licensed under the Insurance Companies Act. A foreign insurer is defined in Part XIII of the Insurance Companies Act (Canada) as an entity incorporated or formed by or under the laws of a country other than Canada that insures risks, including an association and an exchange (as those terms are defined in Section 571 of the ICA). The Superintendent of Insurance has no authority under the Insurance Act regarding the insurer. Provincial and federal unlicensed and excise taxes are payable by Pensio. Pensio's licensed insurance broker in the Province where the rental property is located has been instructed by Pensio to file with the Superintendent a return under oath or affirmation in the form and manner required by the Superintendent, containing particulars of all insurance effected under this Section; and concurrently, in respect of all premiums on such insurance Payable by the Pensio pay the provincial and federal excise to the Minister of Finance the premium taxes that would be payable if a licensed insurer had received such premiums. Pensio product services and guarantees may be subject to provincial restrictions and only be provided in locations where the law permits.
